Meet our team
Chris became the Managing Director of Interserve Learning & Employment UK in December 2014 and is responsible for the development and delivery of its UK welfare, skills and education business. He was previously the Managing Director of Rehab Jobfit, a unique, Joint Venture partnership between Interserve and the Rehab Group, delivering employability programmes on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions. He remains a Board Director of the JV as well as being on the Board of Interserve Service Futures and a Trustee at Aspire, a national charity supporting the spinally injured. He is also a Non-Executive Director at Aspire Law.
Andrew joined Interserve Learning and Employment in November 2015 to head up the company’s finance team. He spent his previous five years as Finance Director for in SIG plc, a leading distributor of specialist building products in Europe, heading up the central finance function and having a wide range of responsibilities. Prior to this, Andrew spent ten years in Dart Group plc, during which time he helped to establish Jet2.com, now a successful low cost airline and tour operator.
Director of Business Development
Mark was appointed as Director of Business Development of Interserve Learning & Employment in February 2015, to lead on the company’s growth plans for its frontline services. He is responsible for identifying and driving strategic business development activities for the employment, skills and education divisions of the organisation. Prior to joining the team, Mark held senior roles at G4S, as solution and bid directors, latterly in the UK and Ireland region’s corporate development team. Much of his earlier career was spent in consultancy, with his first five years as an armoured reconnaissance officer. He has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BA in Philosophy from Exeter University.
Marketing and Communications Director
Kim started her career in marketing within the construction sector, carrying out a number of roles spanning almost 15 years. At that point, she chose to move into the social justice arena which allowed her to pursue her passion in social policy to help improve people’s life chances, joining Working Links. Here she progressed to head up the Public Affairs, PR and Research function by the time she left after 8 years with the company. In October 2010, Kim joined Interserve Learning & Employment. In her role as Marketing and Communications Director and as part of the SMT she leads on brand development and positioning of the business, and was instrumental in driving the full rebrand of the business following the acquisition of esg and its subsequent integration into the Interserve business. She also leads on internal communications strategy and stakeholder engagement, while also fulfilling a role as an Interserve Employee Foundation Ambassador as part of the Group’s commitment to its SustainAbilities agenda.
Corporate Services Director
Wayne began his career at Interserve Learning & Employment in 2011 when he headed up the Information Technology department where he delivered a strategy to facilitate the mobilisation of the DWP Work Programme contract to include new case management systems, reporting and infrastructure. Since then he has been responsible for leading transformational change in the Skills business to deliver a true mobile workforce, improved collaboration through technology and paperless working using e-portfolio systems. Prior to joining Interserve Wayne gained experience in Construction, Finance and Media and has gained over 18 years’ experience in service management, with over 12 years in leadership and management roles. Wayne played a pivotal role in supporting the due diligence, acquisition and integration of esg into Interserve and his skillset around project management, leading change, governance and service management has facilitated his transition into the role of Corporate Services Director.
Daniel joined Interserve Learning & Employment as Solutions Director focussing on ensuring our skills offer meets the evolving needs of the market and that the business is well placed to respond to reforms in this space. He brings wide ranging experience having held senior management positions, including those of Commercial Director and Business Transformation Director, in health and human services programmes in the UK, Middle East and Australia. Daniel holds a Bachelor in Business Management, and a Bachelor of Laws.
