The programme is 12 months of learning, followed by the End Point Assessment (EPA). This ensures you have enough time to learn everything you need and you’ll have the confidence to successfully pass the apprenticeship.

Whilst on the apprenticeship, you’ll receive a rich and wide range of learning opportunities to get the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours to help you progress in your career.

Training is delivered both on-the-job and off-the-job so you have the time to put your new learning into practice.

During the apprenticeship, you’ll receive frequent and regular workplace face-to-face teaching sessions (or remote visits) as well as being able to join webinars, complete the paediatric first aid course and independent tasks.

By completing this apprenticeship you’ll be well placed to make a positive difference to a young child.
