We have created the HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship programme to give you the insight and expertise to succeed in your role, whether you’re just starting your career or have more experience and are looking to advance your skills.
About the programme
Our HR Support Level 3 programme has been designed to give you the very best experience and up-to-date industry knowledge. We’ve created a practical based course that goes beyond theory so that you gain the true work and sector specific skills to support your professional development and growth in the sector.
We have over 34 years’ experience of apprenticeship training so you can be confident that you’ll gain the right level of knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve the apprenticeship. Plus we will make sure you’re on the right path to succeed in your career and further development.

If you’re delivering front line support to managers and employees, handling queries or are a HR Manager looking to learn and develop new HR skills, the HR Support Level 3 programme may just be what you need to help develop your own career.
We’ll help you develop a deeper understanding of HR so that you have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to work across a number of HR areas. Ideally you need to be in a HR role or one where HR is a key element of your day-to-day activities.
What you’ll learn
You’ll develop a broad range of skills to help you manage day-to-day HR processes and issues better. You’ll master new skills to become a successful HR professional with the foundations of an expert HR practitioner, across topics such as:
- HR legislation and policy
- HR function
- HR systems and processes
- Managing HR information
We’ll tailor the programme to your needs and your employer so that the learning and experiences you gain will support you in meeting your needs today and your future career. Whether it’s support with handling day-to-day queries and providing HR advice, recruitment through to retirement, working with key stakeholders to support business change or talent development programmes, we’ll be able to help you grow and achieve your goal.
If you don’t have Level 2 English and Maths, you’ll need to achieve this prior to taking the end point assessment. We have a specialist team and experts in place to help and guide you through this if it is required.
How you’ll learn
Through our blended learning programme including workshops, webinars, assignments, online resources and 1-2-1 support, you’ll benefit from a high quality and rich learning experience to help you achieve the apprenticeship. Our expert HR staff will train, help and guide you through the programme every step of the way so that you’re ready and prepared for end point assessment. You can be confident of being supported by the very best staff with access to up to date resources and learning materials.
We deliver a flexible 17 month programme. You can be supported through either our:
- Open cohorts scheduled regularly across London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds; or
- Closed employer specific cohorts across England with bespoke programmes
You will also record and track learning progress through the OneFile e-portfolio, helping to support and evidence your journey. OneFile is an industry leading and award winning online service which can be accessed 24/7 anywhere and through any device.
