We have created the HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship programme to give you the insight and expertise to succeed in your role, whether you’re just starting your career or have more experience and are looking to advance your skills.

About the programme

Our HR Support Level 3 programme has been designed to give you the very best experience and up to date industry knowledge. We’ve created a practical based programme that goes beyond theory so that you gain the true work and sector-specific skills to support your professional development and growth in HR. 

We have over 34 years’ experience of apprenticeship training so you can be confident that you’ll gain the right level of knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully achieve the apprenticeship and make sure you’re on the right path to succeed in your career and further development.

If you’re delivering front line support to managers and employees, handling queries or are a HR Manager looking to learn and develop new HR skills, the HR Support Level 3 programme may just be what you need. Whether you’re working in a role handling queries or are working on business change processes, this apprenticeship provides the key HR skills you’ll need to advance your career.

We’ll help you to develop a deeper understanding of HR so that you have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to work across a number of HR areas. Ideally, you need to be in a role where HR is a key element of your daily activities. This will give you the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge to the programme and importantly, allow you to apply the new knowledge in your job.

What you’ll learn

You’ll develop a broad range of skills to help you effectively manage day-to-day HR processes and issues better. You’ll master new skills to become a successful HR professional with the foundations of an expert HR practitioner, across topics such as:

  • HR legislation and policy
  • HR function
  • HR systems and processes
  • Managing HR information
  • Problem-solving

The CIPD Level 3 Certificate in HR Management can be included within this programme, however additional charges will apply.

We’ll tailor the programme to your needs so that the learning experiences you gain will support you today and in your future career. Whether it is support with handling day-to-day queries and providing HR advice, recruitment through to retirement, working with key stakeholders to support business change or talent development programmes, we’ll be able to help you grow and achieve your goal.

If you don’t have Level 2 English and Maths, you’ll need to achieve this prior to taking the end-point assessment. We have experts to help you if you need it.

    How you’ll learn

    Through our blended learning programme including workshops, assignments and 1-2-1 support, you’ll benefit from a rich learning experience. Our experts will train, help and guide you through the programme so that you’re ready and prepared for end point assessment. You can be confident of being supported by the very best staff with access to up to date resources and learning materials.

    We deliver a flexible 17 month programme (which includes EPA). You can be supported through either our:

    • Open cohorts scheduled regularly across London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds
    • Closed employer specific cohorts across England with bespoke programmes
    • Online cohorts, which gives more flexibility to those where our delivery locations may be out of reach

    During the apprenticeship, you’ll be able to record and track your own learning progress using the OneFile e-portfolio. This tool not only supports you through the programme but provides a way to evidence your journey. OneFile is an industry leading and award winning online service which can be accessed 24/7 anywhere and through any device.
