Learning & Development

18 Months

About the programme

Our L&D Consultant Level 5 apprenticeship is designed for those in an L&D management role working with stakeholders across the business to improve performance. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of L&D during the programme and you’ll advance your existing knowledge and skills to be a highly effective L&D professional. We’ll help you every step of the way with our team of CIPD sector expert trained staff.

This is an exciting 18 month blended learning programme (End Point Assessment from month 17) designed to really help you to achieve your future career goals by providing the knowledge, skills and behaviours to be a successful L&D professional.

We’ve embedded the CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Learning & Development throughout the programme. We won’t overload you with information all at once, you’ll build your knowledge in a carefully planned sequence. We layer the learning to give you time to apply new found skills, knowledge and behaviours in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship you’ll benefit from our industry knowledge and L&D best practice. Trainers will help you to develop and enhance your skills to be an L&D professional with the confidence and ability to support the continued development of your employer and the talent within it.

Is the apprenticeship for you?

This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone working in L&D at a generalist or specialist level, where the focus and in-depth expertise is in a specific area such as organisation development, digital, blended learning, resourcing, or talent management. Typically your role will involve working closely with senior leaders, managers and stakeholders. You’ll be an agent for change, influencing key stakeholders, making decisions and recommendations on what the business can or should do in an L&D context.

It’s an ideal programme if you already have L&D experience and are in a role that is accountable for ensuring L&D contributes to, and influences, improved performance in the workplace at an individual, team and organisation level.

This is a much more in depth learning experience than the Level 3 programme, providing a deeper understanding of L&D and professional practice. Our apprenticeship will help you enhance your own knowledge and experiences with new skills to be a future leader.
