Last week, our team in Sheffield got into the Christmas spirit by dressing up as elves to raise funds for charity. A fantastic total of £278.50 was collected to be divided between two very worthy causes; the Interserve Employee Foundation which is an independent charity helping local community projects such as Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Ashgate Hospicecare, and of course, Alzheimer’s Society, which works tirelessly to support those affected by dementia. The team did a brilliant job raising the cash through the sale of luxury hot chocolate, home-made crafts and a range of cakes, along with a raffle ticket competition! They also managed to raise a whopping £60 purely by employees pledging money to see a good-humoured male manager sport a fetching elf dress, a sight to see if ever there was one! Congratulations to the team on this wonderful achievement and of course to these two and all amazing charities everywhere for raising funds to help others this Christmas.
