Realise’s Angela and Olivia achieve management apprenticeships with distinctions!

Congratulations to Angela Leeding and Olivia Mayell who recently achieved distinction grades in their management apprenticeships.

Angela and Olivia work in the Childcare and Education sector at Realise and have been studying towards their qualifications alongside their busy roles as Performance Managers.

Olivia has been studying towards a Team Leading Level 3 apprenticeship, whilst Angela has completed an Operational/Departmental Manager Level 5 apprenticeship.

Angela Leeding, said: “The programme has been invaluable to myself, it has not only been interesting and informative it has helped me to recognise my skills and abilities as a manager, whilst helping me to develop these further.

The knowledge I have developed around theories and strategies has allowed me to progress myself and my team members, make improvements and to become and maintain a high performing team.

The management apprenticeship has adapted and moulded my behaviours and has given me a greater understanding of operational management and how I contribute to this within Realise.

My confidence has grown and has belief in myself, the work and effort has been very much worthwhile, I am really proud of my achievements and completing the programme with my distinction grade.  The support received from my manager Karen Derbyshire and tutor Mandy Jones has been nothing short of amazing.”

Olivia Mayell, said: “This programme has really helped me learn and grow as a manager. The skills and knowledge I have developed and put into practice has allowed me to progress not only myself as a manager but also to support my team and maintain a high level of performance all-round.

“I am looking forward to progressing on to the next stage of my learning and development and supporting the team and sector further.

“I am really proud of my distinction grade and the support I have received from my manager Karen Derbyshire and also Realise as a company.”

Karen Derbyshire, Head of Childcare and Education at Realise, said: “Both Olivia and Angela have put in a staggering amount of work and effort to achieve their apprenticeships.

“Not only has this supported their own personal development, it has also supported improvements across the sector. The projects they have undertaken have been meaningful and impactful resulting in positive change and improved outcomes.

“I never doubted they would achieve with distinction and I am immensely proud of both achievements.”

Well done Angela and Olivia!
