This week we will be highlighting the progression of one of our valued employees, Peter Harrigan. Peter’s passion for training and helping young people develop themselves shone through during his time as a Tutor back in August 2016. During his time as a Tutor, Peter supported young people not in education, employment or training to up skill and discover their goals.
After strongly representing ILE’s values, working hard in his role and being a transformational figure for many young people, Peter was promoted to Performance Manager for ILE’s #LIFEGOALS contract in Cheshire and Warrington.
Speaking about Peter’s contribution, Contract Manager Julie Duckett shared:
Pete started work with Interserve in August and helped to mobilise the new #LIFEGOALS contract in Cheshire and Warrington. Being an experienced tutor, he was able to offer curriculum advice which in turn positively impacted upon the delivery model itself. Pete then harnessed the opportunity to speak directly to the local authorities about our specialist offer to young people in the region.
As a vacancy arose for Performance Manager, Pete decided to apply to further his career within Interserve. He has always displayed our critical core values throughout his employment and this, coupled with his desire to increase curriculum to work in greater collaboration across both Skills and Employment and an impressive interview, led to an offer of promotion. Pete started this role at the beginning of last month and is enjoying the challenge!
We are always on the hunt for good people; people who relish making this difference and redefining futures. We’d love to hear from you, so please, do take a look at our current vacancies or simply drop us a line on the off-chance that we have the perfect role for you too, to progress further in your career!
