This week’s story of personal progression highlights one of our employees who has moved up through the ranks here at Interserve Learning & Employment (ILE); Rebecca Rixham. As a valuable member of ILE’s Skills Compliance and Support Team, Rebecca has gone from Office Junior to a Compliance Verification Manager, with many promotions along the way.
Sharing her story, Rebecca said that: “I have worked for the company (in its various different stages!) since September 2001, so basically straight from school, starting as an Office Junior and working my way up to the role I am in now. Over the years I have had many different roles enabling me to gain a vast wealth of knowledge for the industry and how things work.
Interserve invest a lot of time into their staff and the company is always looking to use talent from within the business to fill roles and progress people; enabling them to reach their full potential, this is why I love my job and look forward to what I know will be exciting times ahead!”
Commenting on her contribution, Rebecca’s manager, Mark Collins said: “Rebecca has a really good understanding of the business and the businesses priorities. During an extremely busy period of change, she has led from the front; driving the change, offering ideas and solutions, and managing the demands of the business in a really proactive and engaging manner. Her team is supported and structured well and have clear direction, which enables them to add value across critical areas and business streams. We are planning for the future with further development ideas for the team and Rebecca is working with me on what this offer will look like. Watch this space!”
